Scavenger role update

The addition of scavenger radar was pretty cool but i find when i was a scav it would just cycle me through the same white vehicles that i just got into unless i destroyed them previously. I think there should be a change to how it works, maybe have like a scavenger "sweep" function that scans the nearby area (like 2km radius) and then you get a list of the different rarity vehicles which then you can proceed to find with the current radar system. I suggest making it like a 10 minute cooldown between different sweep locations just to make it so that you dont find super rare vehicles all the time.

I'm not sure the game can track vehicles outside of the rendering distance, or am I wrong in that?

I once travelled like 5km for a vehicle, so I think you can go quite far.

Do scavengers really need more advantages?

I wouldnt say its an advantage, being able to only potentially find one good vehicle every 10 minutes. Right now you can fly to an airport, wait a minute for the radar and then take a mobile spawn, this suggestion would make it less frequent that you would lose something to a scavenger.

Considering this is the only role with some form of gameplay advantage that is not available to all factions, making it more viable is the last thing we should do.

Not being available to all factions doesnt mean it cant be updated/changed though.

I think its fine how it is, its partly overpowered in regards to finding mobile spawns anyways, no need to spoon feed and hand hold.

I dont see how being shipped between the same vehicles over and over again is "fine". There should be some sort of change that prevents something like this.

According to keeri, scavengers do not get mobile spawns on radar.

I think scavenger works well enough as it is. If you dedicate enough time to it, and people have actually left stuff outside HQs, you can find some decent vehicles, and you can do so passively. You can, for example, do a run and mark areas that have valuable vehicles near them on the way and then come back for said vehicles in a quap. An active scanning scav radar would require, as far as I can tell, much more work to use and would perhaps make the scavenger role even less used.
